The Keto Lady Cheesy Jalapeno Chicken

This recipe is a family favorite! If you want less spice, you can leave out the Jalapenos!

Recipe:

4 Small Chicken Breasts

The Keto Lady Taco Seasoning Recipe

1 Tablespoon of Butter

1/2 Cup Onion Chopped

Jar of Pickled Jalapenos ( could use fresh ) Seed and Slice

1 Tsp Garlic

1/4 Cup of Heavy Cream

1/3 Cup of Chicken Broth

2 Ounces Cream Cheese

1 Cup Shredded Cheddar

Prepare chicken by rubbing both sides with the taco seasoning.

Heat a medium skillet and spray with nonstick avocado cooking spray.

Sear chicken on both sides until nicely brown. Remove from pan and set aside.

Add butter, onion , garlic and jalapenos and saute for 3-4 mins until softened stirring so you don’t burn the garlic.

Add in the cream cheese, broth and heavy cream until the cream cheese melts. Then add 1/2 cup of the cheddar stir well until its all melted together.

Add chicken back to skillet, additional cheese on top and cover over low until cooked through about 6-8 more minutes.

I topped with fresh cilantro and served with a side of Palmini rice, that I drained and fried up with some of the extra sauce and and lots of cilantro!
