The Keto Lady Lemony Cream Pork Chops with Mushrooms
Indulge in the rich and tangy flavors of our Keto-friendly pork chops, draped in a creamy lemon sauce and studded with savory mushrooms. Perfect for a satisfying low-carb dinner!
Ingredients-
4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 lemon, juiced and zested
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
Optional: extra lemon slices for garnish
Instructions-
1. Prepare Pork Chops: Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Cook Pork Chops: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Sauté Mushrooms: In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until they begin to brown and release moisture, about 5 minutes.
4. Make Sauce: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Deglaze with chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and heavy cream. Simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.
5. Combine Ingredients: Return pork chops to the skillet. Add butter and thyme, simmering for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and chops are coated and reheated
.
6. Serve: Plate chops with a generous spoonful of the lemony mushroom cream sauce. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
